Honest Table is a guide for discerning diners, one that reviews without favour, fear, or a single free meal. Where others flatter, we judge. Our promise is the verdict itself: considered, independent, and worth the journey.
Independent. Every review is written in-house. We pay our own way, accept no free meals, and take no payment for coverage. A restaurant can ask to be considered, but neither the enquiry nor money ever shapes the verdict.
In-house.There are no user reviews here. Restaurants don’t submit their own words or photography. Every assessment is ours, so the standard never wavers.
Considered. We are brief because we are sure. Every word is weighed; rigour and delight are not opposites.
We visit unannounced and at our own expense, weighing five things: Ambiance, Service, Food, Value, Drinks. Those five become a single number.
The Verdict.We don’t award stars. Others own those. Honest Table issues a single considered score from 1 to 10, framed in the seal. The mark itself is the endorsement.
